Janelle Brown Taft attended Norfolk State University as an undergraduate and Hampton University for graduate school. She has a Bachelor’s of Science and a Master’s of Science in Nursing. She is certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is married with three children that range in age from 7-20 years old. Her current hobbies include reading the Bible, spending time with her family, and being a regular CrossFitter.

Kayla Smith has been working at WCFP as a nursing assistant since its opening in 2012. She has experience in administering injections, drawing blood and helping to provide patients with in-home care. She is furthering her education at Pitt Community College with the goal of becoming a Registered Nurse. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, creating music and spending time with her family and friends.

Charles Taft is the Practice/Quality Manager as well as the Billing Manager. He attended Elizabeth State University as an undergraduate in Chemistry, and Norfolk State University for his graduate degree in Physical Chemistry. He also attended Ashford University and earned an additional Master’s in Health and Business Administration. He is married with three children and enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.

Vivian Clark enjoys spending time with her grandson and loves to garden while she drinks her cold sweet tea. She also loves spending time with her “favorite child”, her dog Sophie. She states, “My family is second only to God”.

Chelsea Farmer has been working with WCFP since 2020 as a nursing assistant. She claims to know everyone in Wilson and always displays her beautiful smile to everyone she meets. She enjoys fishing, hunting, listening to music, and spending time with her family.

Betty Garner has been married to her wonderful husband for 7 years and is a mother of 3 children, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She loves watching HGTV and the Dallas Cowboys.
